When you use Direct IT services, you agree that you have read, understood and accepted all of the Terms and Conditions. We may request that you sign a form to acknowledging this.

Direct IT Services reserves the right to reject computer repair service to anyone at any time depending on the circumstances.

You are required to let Direct IT Services know of any damage, if you fail to do so Direct IT Services will not be responsible.

On all computer repairs, upgrades and troubleshooting, we only warranty the "service" that was performed for a period of one month which does not include any software issues created and/or caused by the "end user", virus, spyware, tampering with the settings etc.

We absolutely do not cover any misuse, tampering, abuse, fire, theft, accidental damage, surges, spikes, brownouts, loss or damage from normal wear and tear, software issues created by the end user, virus, spyware etc. This applies to all our services.

Direct IT Services will make every reasonable effort to protect your data. However, it is possible that data can be lost due to factors beyond our control. You, the customer, are responsible for backing up your data to removable media. We may back up your data for you at your request, if your system has the necessary components to do so onsite, or by other means at our headquarters. Direct IT Services will not be held responsible in any way for lost data, or any loss of revenue or income resulting from such loss. The customer understands that ALL DATA WILL BE LOST if we have to format your hard drive, including any applications that are not included with your version of Windows, that you do not have legal CD's for. You also understand that during the course of service data (personal files) can become corrupt, unusable, in such case you will not hold Direct IT Services responsible.

Direct IT Services will only offer a limited liability in case of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. If your computer problems recurs subsequent to a service call, or another problem occurs, this will be considered a separate issue, and if a service call is requested, you will be charged the regular rate. Hardware warranty is via original manufacturers only unless otherwise specified in the contract and or invoice.

Data backup, ghosting, drive imaging, drive copying, data transfer depends on the condition of your disk and data integrity. Charges apply.

Direct IT Services will not be responsible to the client or any third party for any breach of software license, for software provided to Direct IT Services by the client to be installed on a client's computer.

You will void your warranty if you or any other unauthorized person adds or removes any device from the network. Removes our cables, change any settings in the network, moves any data jacks that we install. Refer to your service contract and/or invoice for warranty information.

Where no agreement has been made, Direct IT Services is not responsible for tutoring. We do not support any kind of games, illegal downloading software, illegal CD burning or DVD burning etc.

Direct IT Services will not do any work without your consent, if Direct IT Services find anything else wrong with your system besides what you mentioned, you will be notified with an estimate. If you agree work will be done and you can pay the balance upon pickup. If you disagree you will be charged a $40 diagnostic fee.

Agree to pay any expenses, materials and labour
- Authorize Direct IT Services to perform work on your PC, network and/or any other technical service.
Web Design, Web Applications and Hosting Terms & Conditions

When you accept and pay an invoice or use any website, web application or hosting service provided to you by Direct IT Services, you agree that you have read, understood and accepted all of the Terms and Conditions. We may request that you sign a form to acknowledging this.

Direct IT Services reserves the right to reject web design, web application development hosting or any website inclusion or update to anyone at any time depending on the circumstances.

Direct IT Services is not responsible for any changes made by anyone other than Direct IT Services itself or our authorized agent(s).

Where applicable or where no agreement has been made Direct IT Services websites are self-managed and Direct IT Services is not responsible for any copy, editing or updating of your website content.

Direct IT Services reserves the right to cease or remove any website or e-mail address including e-mail data from operation when the hosting payment or any other payment has not been received or if the hosting period has expired. If the hosting payment has not expired but any other payment has not been paid according to the Direct IT Services, Direct IT Services still reserves the right to remove or cease any website service or any e-mail address including e-mail data from operation. Direct IT Services cannot be held responsible for any loss of data or income past and future due to a website or e-mail address being removed or ceased due to non-payment.

Direct IT Services will not accept liability to the client being an individual or business in respect of any loss or damage (including indirect special or consequential loss or damage) which may be suffered or incurred by the client which may arise directly or indirectly in respect of any services supplied by Direct IT Services or in respect of any failure or omission on Direct IT Services part to comply the obligations as set out in these Terms and Conditions.

Direct IT Services does not warrant that the website or web application including any hosting services provided will not be interrupted or error free, nor make any warranty as to the results that may be obtained from the use of these services.

Under no circumstances, including negligence, shall Direct IT Services be liable for any damages that result from the use of, or inability to use Direct IT Services website CMS (Content Management System) or custom web applications that results from mistakes, omissions, interruptions, deletion of files, errors, defects, delays in operation, or transmission or any failure of performance, whether or not limited to communication failure, theft, destruction or unauthorised access to Direct IT Services software or services.
Notwithstanding the above, the client's exclusive remedies for all damages, losses and causes of actions shall not exceed the aggregate dollar amount which the customer paid for web design or web services. -
The copyright in all artwork, copy and other work produced by Direct IT Services rest with Direct IT Services unless otherwise assigned in writing. The client being an individual or business will not hold Direct IT Services responsible or liable for breaching copyrighted designs, logos, statements, or any other media submitted to Direct IT Services.
